This document aims at commenting on the main results from the study on “The social and environmental benefits of biotechnology adoption:
1996/97 - 2009/10”1/ conducted by Céleres Ambiental2/ in the second half of 2010. Such analysis will reveal the results of the social and
environmental benefits obtained as a result of the adoption of insect-resistant cotton, herbicidetolerant cotton, insect-resistant corn and herbicidetolerant soybeans.
